I Wish My Teacher Knew…

I wish my teacher knew just how much I love sports. I started playing soccer in preschool, while I didn’t start basketball and volleyball until 1st grade. Not only did I start early, but I still continue to play these sports to this day! Just about everyday I have some sort of sporting event or practice going on. Although sometimes practice can be hard, tiring, and on top of that I have homework to do, I just really enjoy working with a team and getting to meet new people.

I wish my teacher knew how much I enjoy Colorado. Every year my family goes to different locations in Colorado and it is always a fun and relaxing time. I love the beautiful mountains, clear lakes, and the cool weather! This summer my family and I went to my favorite place in Colorado which is Estes Park. In Estes Park we went fishing in the clear water, explored downtown and all of the shops, and enjoyed the view of the mountains right from our hotel! I love Estes Park so much that I actually plan on living there when I get older.

I wish my teacher knew that I am very creative. Every week this summer I would try to find time to brainstorm and then make fun crafts. I enjoy creating anything from bracelets to pillows! Crafting gives me the chance to express my own ideas and little bit about my personality while making something fun and useful.

I wish my teacher knew how much I love animals. My favorite wild animal is a giraffe, because they are so tall, while I am so short! One item on my bucket list is to see a giraffe in real life so that I can tell just how tall they are. Besides giraffes, I am also a big dog lover. I do not own a puppy, even though I have asked my parents for one for years now. I love Pugs, Shih Tzus, and Yellow Labs! I love dogs more than cats mostly because dogs will almost always love you, while I believe that cats have a little bit of an attitude.

If there was one thing that my teacher should know before teaching me, it is that I smile a lot. I never really notice how much I smile, it just kind of happens. My friends always ask my how I can always be so happy and why I am always smiling, but I guess I just don’t really notice that I am always smiling. There is always just so much to be happy about. I am happy about the chance to go to a Christian school, I am happy about my amazing and supportive friends, I am happy about the chance to play sports, and I am happy about more things as well!

There are many things that I wish my teacher knew, but those were a few of the basic ones. Thanks for listening!
